San Diego is a melting pot of design influences. You'll find Victorian, Mid-Century Modern, Tudor, Mediterranean, and many other styles, often meshed with a relaxed, coastal vibe that befits the sunny seaside city. It's not uncommon to find restored pre-war ranch homes next door to newly built contemporary beauties that are temples of current trends for glass walls, warm woods, and mixed metals. Custom window treatments are adaptable to all types of styles, but each one is unique because it's created by you to suit your individual taste. When you work with Stoneside, you'll see the difference high-quality window coverings can make in your home or office space.
"America’s Finest City" deserves America's finest window coverings, which is why Stoneside is the top choice for window shades, blinds, and drapery for San Diego homes and businesses. Charming cottages in Mission Beach, cool Craftsman homes in North Park, and Spanish Revival gems in Kensington - the city's diverse architectural styles are all beautifully enhanced with custom window treatments. They complement any design style and frame the breathtaking San Diego scenery through your windows, whether it's the ocean in Point Loma or the hills near Del Cerro.

Window Coverings That Transform Your San Diego Home or Office
We are proud to say that Stoneside's custom window shades, blinds, and drapery are made right here in the United States, for premium quality and performance. The exceptional craftsmanship results in unparalleled beauty and durability, accomplished by an astonishing array of fabrics, colors, textures, and patterns for you to work with.
When selecting your custom window treatments, deciding which type you want is the first step. Wood and faux wood blinds are equally at home in traditional or modern homes and add a touch of nature to your interiors. The versatility of roller shades comes with their clean, organic lines, making them a perfect fit for any building type. Anyone living in San Diego knows homes here can get an inordinate amount of sun exposure, which is why solar shades are a must-have to help limit UV damage. For tastemakers who embrace cutting-edge style, transitional shades combine a modern look with a standout striped pattern. For something a little more luxurious, Roman shades or custom drapes are the epitome of elegance.
Once you know the type of window treatment you want, you can choose from our multitude of colors, fabrics, and patterns, as well as decorative elements that really pull a look together. Don't forget to explore our high-tech motorization systems that offer seamless convenience with operation via a remote control, smart home device, or app.
Assisting you throughout the entire process are Stoneside's top-notch design and installation experts, who provide five-star service and personalized attention to every client. Kelsea comes from a design background and has a wonderfully trained eye for window treatment design. She is known for making her clients feel important from the moment they meet. She truly listens so she can understand their sense of style and functional needs (even the ones they might not have yet thought of) and then gives them her honest design advice. The next step is what she calls a "fabric party" which is the best and most exciting part. What she loves most about her job is bringing a client's dream vision to life with something so simple, yet important, as well-designed and functional window coverings.

Since getting her Interior Design degree from the Design Institute of San Diego in 2008, Tamara has been passionate about helping people create environments they love. Her goal is to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. She listens closely to clients and then combines her eye for beauty and flair for design to create custom window treatments that are both functional and stunning. Tamara's favorite part of the job is calling people once their window treatments have been installed and hearing how much they love them and how great their space looks. When not designing, she's likely riding her beach cruiser along the coast, hiking in Torrey Pines, or watching a play at the Old Globe Theater.
