Stoneside Provides The Safest Installation Procedures

Preparing for Your Measure, Installation, or Service Call

First and foremost, thank you again for entrusting us with your window covering project. As many of you know, COVID-19 has changed the landscape of our day to day interactions and we have put together a few extra precautions to make your appointment as smooth and worry-free as possible. We want to take a few minutes to help prepare you as to what to expect for your upcoming measure, install or service call appointment. Our installers have been trained on new protocols and safety measures before they have ever stepped into your home. Before the day begins, each installer has been given a thermometer to check their temperature. If the reading is outside of the recommended guidelines (above 100.4) or, if they are feeling ill, we have asked them to call our scheduling department to reschedule your appointment.

Before the installer arrives, please take extra care to be sure that the area around each window is clear of furniture as this will minimize the need for the installer to touch additional items in your home.

As the installer arrives, he or she will greet you at the door however, we are asking them to take a step back and not to shake hands as to maintain at least six feet of social distancing. Before entering your home, our installer will unbox all products outside your home, sanitize their hands and wipe down the window covering protective wrap. The installer has been equipped with a face mask, disposable gloves and shoe coverings to not track anything into your home.

As a precaution, we are asking you to allow the installer freedom to move throughout your home and have you remain in a different room than them to maintain social distancing. As the installer moves around the home, he or she might be less talkative than normal, but please feel free to ask questions as they perform their duties.

At the end of the appointment, we will not ask you to sign the installer’s work order, but instead provide verbal consent and he or she will sign on your behalf to avoid the need to pass the stylus and tablet to you.

Lastly, our installation team has been trained on how to properly remove their disposal gloves, handling and wearing face protection, proper hand washing as well as proper disposal and/or cleaning of items that were used during your appointment time.

Again, thanks for your understanding as we all navigate this together. If you have any questions, please reach out to our support center. Thank you for your business with Stoneside and know that your safety and window covering experience is always our top priority.
