To ensure our customers and team members always have a safe experience, we’ve developed a new virtual design consultation process for a very safe and fun experience. We’ve modified our in-home design consultations and measure and installation process following all CDC recommended safety guidelines.
Our design consultants and installers have been provided high-quality digital thermometers, disposable masks, hand sanitizer, disposable booties, and disinfectant wipes to allow them to operate safely in your home or office.
Stoneside’s design consultants and installers are trained and certified on Stoneside’s COVID-19 safety procedures.
Everything about this experience is built around you. We typically start with your choice of an in-home or virtual design consultation. Your design consultant will ask about what you’re hoping to accomplish, your needs, your budget, your sense of style, and the vision you have for your home or office. If you select a virtual appointment, on the video call using your smartphone, tablet, or computer, we will walk through each of your rooms, discuss design ideas, and discuss options. Next, we will share photos, narrow down the options, and look at swatches of our materials to help create an amazing look for your home.
At this point, if you selected a virtual appointment you can have us assist you in collecting initial window measurements and ship material samples so you can see exactly how they will look in your home. If you selected an in-home experience, we will schedule an in-home consultation to measure your windows, review the fabric samples with you in person while following all CDC recommended COVID-19 safety guidelines. Either way will have fun creating a custom solution to meet your needs.
Finally, we will create a detailed design plan and review it with you to make sure everything perfect. And if you’re ready, we will help you place your order online.
Once your order is entered, we’ll schedule one of our skilled professional installers (not a third party contractor) to come to your home and perform a final measure.
Over the years, we’ve learned that by measuring twice and double-checking everything, we’re able to install projects with 100% accuracy the first time instead of having to make multiple trips to complete your project.
As soon as your measurements and specifications are finalized, we send them to our US-based manufacturing facilities, where our craftsmen will carefully select all fabrics and materials to ensure everything is flawless.
We precision cut these materials to spec so your window treatments fit perfectly. Then our skilled technicians carefully assemble, test, and inspect each shade to make sure we meet or exceed your expectations.
Although we know our design consultants create awesome window treatment solutions, and our manufacturing team crafts beautiful products, it’s our outstanding installation team that brings your vision to life.
On your installation date, one of our skilled professional installers will arrive on time, explain each step of the process, and answer any questions. Your installer will take great care to protect you and your home. He will sanitize his hands and wipe down all boxes before bringing them into your home. We use booties and drop cloths when appropriate to protect your floors. After we complete the installation, we vacuum and dust to leave your home or office cleaner than we found it. We’ll show you how each shade works and answer any final questions before leaving you to enjoy your beautiful new window treatments.
